We are a passionate group of women from Cameroon, Ghana, (other countries) who seek to empower other women in the fight against human trafficking. We are mothers, sisters, daughters, community leaders and advocates.
SURVIVORS’ NETWORK (SN), CAMEROON, is a non-profit lay apolitical organization founded in 2015 and registered in 2016, made up of Female Survivors of Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery.
Survivors’ Network is a female driven NGO with the focus of attaining our goals by realizing our objectives in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our optimal goal is to eliminate all forms of modern-day slavery against women which is the main cause of human trafficking; and to address Gender Based violence by advocating for Equal opportunity for women, girls and the vulnerable with the following objectives;
Survivors’ Network is committed to the fight against human trafficking and all forms of modern-day slavery including Gender Based Violence. Our approach to this fight is by employing a proactive approach to prevent vulnerable women and girls from being trafficked; rescue and empower trafficked survivors as well as persecute traffickers. Our empowerment programs through vocational training and provision of start-up stocks to survivors and those with vulnerability are flexible, tailored to meet the desires and abilities of the beneficiaries without compromising the needs of their communities.
